How to Manage Your Time Effectively - Tips to Help You Get in Control Of Your World346

Today I’m doing something a little bit differently in sharing two episodes of podcast on productivity that I gained a lot from.

Chris Kresser is a health expert, who I enjoy listening to because of his thorough research and evidence-based approaches to creating a healthy lifestyle.

Recently he put out two episodes that were in a slightly different vein – discussing how to be productive without destroying your health.

This is a great discussion that covers how to get more done, but also how to attend to your health at the same time. In fact, he discusses many instances where the things that are right for your health actually improve your productivity (critically important – as a lot of people think that taking time away to take care of your body actually decreases your productivity: not true!).

Just to give you teaser, he covers exercise, taking breaks to move around, organize your time and schedule, learning to mentally focused or meditation and mindfulness, getting high-quality downtime and sleep, and more. He even suggests some great apps, software, and books to help you.

Here are the links:

Part 2 – http://chriskresser.com/how-to-be-insanely-productive-without-destroying-your-health-2

Just a note of explanation – since his podcast is primarily a health podcast that focuses a lot on ancestral health, I thought I would just explain the terminology since a lot of people aren’t aware of it. Essentially ancestral health has to do with learning how to approach modern human health challenges from an evolutionary perspective – and understanding how modern stressors affect our lives in positive and negative ways. You will probably pick up on some related themes in the cast.
